Augie Tchantcho is best known for his role as The General in The Gordon Frost Organisation’s The Book of Mormon. His Australian Theatre debut was in StageArt’s highly successful Australian musical premieres Dreamgirls (Marty) and The Colour Purple (Pa/Ole Mister). Augie achieved critical acclaim for his soulful and charismatic storytelling as Narrator/Stew in Antipodes Theatre’s Passing Strange. Shakespeare’s credits include King Lear (Albany), Comedy of Errors (Duke), Julius Caesar (Brutus), The Taming of the Shrew (Petruchio), and Othello (Othello). His screen debut was as Wilbur in the thriller drama television series “Shantaram.”
